Non-Intrusive Inspection
OilDynamix regularly employs Non-Intrusive Inspections (NII) on pressure vessels reducing the time and associated cost of performing the inspection effort. By eliminating the need to open a vessel the costs associated with loss of production, isolation, and preparing for vessel entry are avoided. Our approach is to minimise the number of intrusive inspections that are conducted without a compromise to safety.
OilDynamix is fully aware that a balance must be met between achieving the benefits of conducting NII and obtaining the necessary information to ensure continued safe and reliable operability of plant and equipment. Our engineers regularly conduct integrity reviews in accordance with relevant risk based inspection methodology or DNV RP G103 Non-Intrusive Inspection, they establish the exact requirements for inspection/extension or deferral and determine whether the equipment is intrinsically suitable for NII.
